Came across this today. It is an article about volunteers with the Food Not Bombs movement. Basically Food Not Bombs is a nonviolent movement committed to promoting peace and providing free vegetarian meals. 8 organizers were arrested while planning to hand out food to protesters at the RNC and were charged with "Conspiracy to Riot in Furtherance of Terrorism." Hey Isaac, this is Seth from NC. I thought it was cool that I came across this today because for the past few weeks I have been trying to get involved with the food not bombs movement in Raleigh. There is an intentional community down the road called the mayview collective that is dedicated to social justice and they do a food not bombs meal every sunday for homeless people in Raleigh.
